Rock Climbing

Guided climbing and caving in Kampot's limestone hills for beginners and experienced climbers.

Rock climbing in Kampot gives you access to parts of the limestone landscape that most visitors never see properly. The climbing is part of it, but the setting is the real draw: karst formations, cave systems, viewpoints, and routes that turn the region into something more physical than the usual sightseeing loop. The established operators here are set up for beginners as well as experienced climbers.

Getting there

You usually need to get to the site yourself, then meet the operator there. Equipment and access logistics are part of the day, so expect a more active half-day or full-day session once you arrive.

Best time to visit

This is one of the better active options in dry season, when rock and trails are more predictable. Morning starts are best for heat. Some shaded sites remain workable year-round, but heavy rain changes safety and comfort quickly, so conditions matter more here than on simpler day trips.
