Discover Kampot is written by Jason, a local guide, history fan, and Kampot resident. Jason lives in Kampot, works in tourism, and has been writing and maintaining Discover Kampot since 2019.

The site grew out of the questions tourists kept asking on tours: where to eat, what to do, what to see. Discover Kampot is the result: part blog, part FAQ, part travel guide, built by someone who lives here and works in the industry every day.
